What is ISO 9001:2008?
In simple terms, ISO 9001:2008 is an Internationally Recognised Standard that defines the systematic control of business activities.
ISO 9001:2008 is designed to meet business requirements of all industries in both the private and public sectors. ISO 9001:2008 acts to compliment all types of organisations ranging from large corporate enterprises to the one-man show.
The common goal of ISO 9001:2008 is to support critical business management systems that aim to ensure that organisations are focused on their respective customers and interested parties.
What is a Quality Management System?
A Quality Management System (QMS) can be expressed as the organisational structure, procedures, processes and resources needed to implement Quality Management.
In short, it is a business management system that focuses on customer satisfaction.
A quality management system encompasses the planning, documentation and control of your everyday business processes, audits to ensure you do what you say you do, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and reviews to monitor and measure performance and identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
How can we HELP?
We can design a Quality Management System to meet both ISO requirements, but more importantly organisational needs. Too often systems are designed with a 'One Size Fits All' approach and are in-flexible in their approach.
We work closely with you to develop a system that encompasses your core values as well as ensuring that implementation and management of the system does not impact on operational outcomes.
